SnapLogic Launches Solution Pack

July 23, 2008 — SnapLogic today released its SugarCRM Solution Pack—an extension to the company’s open-source data integration framework that allows companies to easily integrate SugarCRM with other software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications, in-house applications and Web sites.

SnapLogic allows companies to integrate data inside and outside their firewalls, and create custom integration solutions, including application integrations and rich Internet applications. The Solution Pack supports both standard SugarCRM deployments as well as Sugar On-Demand implementations.

According to SnapLogic CEO Chris Marino, SnapLogic provides the support systems administrators need in their daily integration tasks. “They don’t need to understand complex APIs to run their integrations,” he said. “They can access the data using simple Web-based technologies and easily, securely, transform, mash up and deliver their data without a lot of expertise. SnapLogic takes on the burden of doing all these things for the user.”

The SugarCRM Solution Pack delivers a set of resources for reading, writing and updating every SugarCRM module, including contacts, leads and accounts, said Marino. For example, if a customer needs to pull all the leads from latest marketing campaign and merge them with a list of accounts from a specific geographic area, he can create a custom data feed to meet this demand.

John Bennett, SnapLogic's Director of Marketing added that the solution caters to both customers who want to integrate with applications that are located behind the firewall and those who use hosted application. “As systems administrators have to deal with more computing in the cloud, we have an infrastructure that can support them,” he said.

The SugarCRM Solution Pack will be available as a free download from www.snaplogic.org and from the SugarExchange on August 4.
